2B (#57) River Gravel

2B River Gravel is a popular material with a wide variety of uses. Naturally smooth, rounded stones with an average diameter of 1/2" to 1-1/2". The standard size for French drain construction — also commonly used for decorative ground cover, garden borders, dry creek beds, drainage channels, concrete paving, and backfilling. The smooth, rounded shape makes it comfortable underfoot compared to angular crushed stone, with a mix of earth-tone colors (browns, tans, grays) that add natural beauty to any project. Unlike limestone, which is crushed to size and angular in shape, river gravel is naturally sized and rounded from years of erosion. Now sourced from old river banks, which is a much more environmentally friendly method than river dredging. Sold per ton. Delivery available throughout the Pittsburgh area.
