Limestone Sand / Dust

Limestone Sand is pulverized limestone that has been screened to create a uniform substance with a texture similar to construction sand. In contrast to "Limestone Dust," this material is not powdery when dry. Used as a bedding layer for pavers and flagstone, a base stabilizer mixed with 2A modified, and a fill material for joints and gaps. Can be used for many of the same applications as mason or construction sand, including concrete paving, retaining wall and patio construction, horse arenas, and driveway topdressing. Compacts extremely well and provides a smooth, level surface for laying pavers, natural stone, and brick. A staple for hardscape contractors and DIY projects in Western Pennsylvania. Sold per ton.
