Concrete / Highway Sand

A medium-grade sand used primarily in concrete mixing, masonry work, and construction fill applications. Also known as construction sand, concrete sand, or highway sand, this material has little bits of aggregate that give it higher porosity and other desirable properties. Meets specifications for road construction, pipe bedding, and general fill. Coarser than mason sand, with a grittier texture that provides good structural bonding in concrete and mortar mixes. A bulk construction staple for contractors and builders across Western Pennsylvania. Sold per ton (approximately 0.77 cubic yards per ton). Delivery available.
